Lettuce Wrap

If you're trying to maximize your vegetable intake and limit the carbs from bread, or if you just happened to run out of bread, you can still enjoy a nice sandwich for lunch.  Use whatever ingredients and condiments you enjoy for the perfect sandwich.

  Start with a large leaf of any time of lettuce including Romaine, Iceberg, etc.  Trim the leaf in half so it resembles the size of a slice of bread.
  Add your choice of sliced turkey, ham, chicken,  roast beef or tuna.




Add slices of any type of cheese you enjoy



Top with more lettuce leaves just as you would a normal sandwich




Add slices of cucumber, tomato or both!





Top it all off with the other half of the lettuce leaf.



Roll everything up so you can take a bite without all of your ingredient falling out and enjoy!
