We love pizza at our house, but we're picky about the kind of pizza we eat.  Pizzeria pizza is great, but $10+ a pie can take its toll on the budget after a while.  By purchasing a ball of pizza dough from a local market along with the pepperoni and mozzarella cheese, we can make a large pizzeria style pie for around $3.  Individual sized pies from the same ball of dough costs less than $1 each!  We already had some terrific tomato sauce on hand from the previous week, so we grabbed the other ingredients and got to work.

You'll need:
Pizza dough - you can buy it at the market or make it yourself!
Tomato Sauce
A big bag of shredded mozzarella cheese
Sliced pepperoni, mushrooms or whatever else you want

You can make individual pizzas by dividing the dough into four sections. Divide dough in half once

then divide each half into quarters.  Stretching into a larger pie will yield a thinner crust

Step 1.
Dust a smooth surface with flour and press out pizza dough.  It's elastic and will take some practice

Step 2.
Pre-bake 5 minutes to make crust easier to handle and prevent sogginess once sauce is applied.

Step 3.
Add a light layer of tomato sauce.  The goal is to coat the entire crust without creating excessive moisture.

Step 4.
Add cheese.  While mozzarella is the usual choice for traditional pizza, you can use your imagination.

Step 5.
Add additional toppings.  We love pepperoni and veggie pepperoni, but you can also add peppers or other veggies
