Everybody wants to look great in clothes but none of us have a perfect body, and sometimes it can be downright depressing trying to get the look we want.  The best long-term solution would be to get in great shape through diet and exercise so we could rest assured everything we try on will look decent.  Let's face it, though, that's much easier said than done.  Even if we do successfully achieve a size 2, that's not to say there won't still be little areas of bulging, puckering and dare I say it - dimpling.  It's our bodies, and it's normal.  Unfortunately Versace didn't design the human figure.

There is a solution that can assist our "figurative" woes, however.  Our grandmothers and their grandmothers were hip to the solution; they wore girdles and corsets religiously and without shame.  These days, we have Spanx!

I'm not sure when we all decided it was so gauche and outdated to wear foundation garments.  I guess it was when we started burning our bras.  Give it up Ladies!  The point of a good foundation garment is to smooth out those small imperfections so we look terrific in clothes no matter what.  If you have a great body that looks fabulous without assistance - then you are one of the lucky few!  If you're like the rest of us, don't shun the foundation garments - embrace them.  Then let them embrace you and cradle all those areas that need an extra lift, nip and tuck.

Do a little shopping around for the right undergarments, and don't be afraid to invest in something that will make all of your clothes look fabulous on you!  You invest a lot more in your clothes, and you deserve to look great all the time.
